Hidden amongst the woodland of Camp Katur in North Yorkshire, The Conscious Hub is a peaceful geodesic dome space designed for meaningful gatherings, deep rest and authentic human connection.

Surrounded by panoramic woodland views, birdsong and silence untouched by road noise, the dome offers a rare sense of stillness that immediately helps people slow down and settle into the space. As daylight softens into twilight, the atmosphere becomes deeply grounding and immersive, with the natural acoustics of the dome creating a uniquely calm and held environment.

The Venue

At the heart of the space sits a large cast iron log-burning stove, bringing warmth, comfort and an elemental feeling of gathering around fire. The dome has running water, a working shower and nearby toilet facilities, while ample parking is located directly beside the space.

The Conscious Hub was created as an earthy woodland sanctuary. A place to step away from the noise of modern life and reconnect with creativity, wellbeing, nature and community.

The unique acoustics and atmosphere of the geodesic dome create a calm, immersive setting for slower, more grounded experiences that encourage presence, connection and meaningful interaction. Accommodating up to 50 people seated and 40 people laying down, the space is particularly well suited for facilitators, teachers and organisers seeking something beyond a standard indoor venue.

Facilitators and organisers are welcome to bring their own food, refreshments, equipment and Bluetooth speakers to personalise their experience within the space.

Accommodation may also be available through Camp Katur, allowing guests to extend their stay and fully immerse themselves in the woodland setting (subject to Camp Katur availability and terms).

Multi-Day & Retreat Hire
Available for larger experiences, retreat weekends and immersive events in collaboration with Camp Katur accommodation.

Location & Accessibility

The Conscious Hub is located within the beautiful woodland setting of Camp Katur in North Yorkshire, surrounded by nature yet still accessible from nearby towns and cities.

Tucked quietly amongst the trees, the dome feels deeply immersed in the natural world while remaining practical and easy to access for guests, facilitators and retreat groups.

Please note that, as a nature-based venue, the surrounding ground can occasionally become uneven, muddy or slippery during wetter seasons. We recommend appropriate footwear, particularly during autumn and winter months.
